Leading Italian fashion house Ermenegildo Zegna has recently launched a contemporary arts project, an aspect of which is the commission of public works, while allowing emerging artists to work and study in Italy through a scholarship program. Below are some photos of a new series, as well as a summary of the project, entitled ZengArt.

"Italian luxury menswear company Ermenegildo Zegna unveiled this week its latest project, ZegnArt, in Trivero, the town where the company was founded. ZegnArt has been conceived as an independent project but complementary to the Zegna Foundation.
ZegnArt focuses on three sections: Public, Special Projects and Art in Global Stores. Public combines the commission of a public work in collaboration with an international institution and a scholarship is offered to a young local artist to study in Italy. The Public section looks at contemporary art as an experience capable of engendering confrontation between cultures, in order to favor the exchange of resources and knowledge and, as a educational model, support the growth of civic and ethical values.The project is curated in its entirety by Cecilia Canziani and Simone Menegoi who, with each initiative, collaborate directly with the partnership institution's curator."
